Emery County Progress wins awards

At the Utah Press Association annual conference, The Emery County Progress received three first place awards and five second place awards. The Progress competed against other newspapers in the state with similar circulation numbers.

First place awards were received for: Best Front Page, Best Web Design, and Best Classified Pages. The second place awards were given for, Best Editor's Column, Best News or Feature Series, Best Special Section, Best Circulation Promotion, and Best R.O.P. ad.

Ken Larson, Emery County Progress publisher, was on hand at the conference to accept the awards.
